Inspiration Films Ltd was founded in 2006 by Mark Peters after attending the "Low To No Budget Filmmaking" course and completing the "Filmmakers Foundation Certificate" both through Raindance.

Mark's first short film "Providence" was shot the same year and was part of the official selection at the Raindance Film festival that year. Raindance also ran an article on their website about how the film was made for less than £400.

Providence was followed up by Pimpdaddy, a second collaboration with Director Jamie Noel and a third short film, Illuminessence, with Nour Wazzi of Panacea Productions. Mark also produced a viral for Pot Noodle in collaboration with Kaushik Bhattacharya of Milky Films. In 2010 Mark shot a promotional video for Aston Martin as part of a pilot for a 6 part TV series called Dream Machines. As of 2011 Mark is working on a feature as well as two new short films and various other projects.

Prior to focusing on Inspiration Films Mark had worked in post production starting out in dispatch at The Machine Room and working up through various posts including Sales Executive at Ascent Media and Sales Manager at Clear Cut Pictures and The Station.
